Melbourne Tigers 95 def by Mt Gambier Pioneers 123

The Mt Gambier Pioneers have put together one of the most impressive victories of the NBL1 season, dominating the Melbourne Tigers on the road from start to finish.
The Pioneers laid the foundation for the drubbing in the first quarter, as Mt Gambier’s offense was simply too potent for the Tigers to do anything about.
Melbourne could only watch as the lead continued to balloon throughout the rest of the game, reaching as many as 43 points at the end of the third quarter.
Nick Marshall top scored for Mt Gambier, tallying 32 points, while Duom Dawam and Tom Kubank each scored 20 points.
The Pioneers took their foot off the pedal in the final term, as Melbourne took a chunk out of the lead, however the game was already over at that point.
This marks the fourth consecutive victory for the Pioneers, who continue to look more and more dangerous each week.
