The Melbourne Tigers are excited to announce the re-signing of Nic Pozoglou to their 2020 NBL1 South roster.
In the inaugural NBL1 season, Nic averaged a double-double with 19.2 points (at 44%) and 10 rebounds, plus 3.1 assists. His energy and athleticism saw many highlight finishes above the ring.
Nic currently has a spot in the Perth Wildcats’ NBL team and is looking forward to a successful finals campaign.
Tiger’s GM Chris Brooking said “It’s great to get Poz back to Melbourne. Last year he gave us so much and immediately became an important part of an effective and unified team. We anticipate even greater things in 2020”.
Tiger supporters should again look forward to Nic being “cleared for take-off’ on a regular basis!
He will join the training group as soon as his commitments with the Wildcats are completed.
The Tigers stage their first home game at MSAC on Sunday 19th April.
