Junior Girls Training Schedule

The club was thrilled to see everyone last Sunday. Despite some early weather threats the morning sessions went well with some 200 girls on court. The coaches overall were very pleased with the athletes.

Fitness is a key issue over the next 4 weeks and athletes are encouraged to rebuild their:

  • Fitness
  • Core strength
  • Strength & Conditioning
  • Load

As well as improving your flexibilty.

Running and Skipping – are 2 simple activities to address this and we expect every athlete to be increasing their load each week.

  • Under 14’s Bottom Age (Born 2009)
    9:00am – 10:00am R.F. Julier Reserve Port Melbourne (arrive 8:30am oval)
  • Under 14’s Top Age (Born 2008)
    10:00am – 11:00am R.F. Julier Reserve Port Melbourne (arrive 9:30am oval)
  • Under 16’s (Born 2006 & 2007)
    11:00am – 12:00pm R.F. Julier Reserve Port Melbourne (arrive 10:30am oval)
  • Under 18’s (Born 2004 & 2005)
    10:00am – 11:00am Middle Park Primary School (arrive 9:30am)

Please Note

  • 1 parent to each child permitted to remain
  • Wear Tigers training gear if you have
  • Bring extra water bottles
  • Sunscreen is recommended
  • Wipe balls down before and after with sanitiser

Friday 11th December – MSAC (inter-squad games)

Sunday 13th December – MSAC
