The Melbourne Tigers are  elated to announce that Monique Conti will be in Tigers colours again for the 2020 NBL1 season. A Tiger since the age of seven, the club commends Monique’s loyalty and commitment. In the 2019 NBL1 season the classy point guard put up great numbers averaging 20.4 points, 4.7 rebounds and 4.2 assists and over 35 minutes per game.

While still only 19, Mon’s basketball career is already stacked with achievements. State Junior representation, Under 14 Nationals Championship, Gold medal at the FIBA U17 World championships in 2016 (and member of the All star 5), plus WNBL rookie of the year in 2016/17.

Mon manages a challenging yearly schedule and is an elite athlete across basketball and the rapidly growing AFLW. She is a marquee player with Richmond, so there is a strong Tiger link across the whole year!

Head coach Kristi Harrower is building a stronger and deeper roster for the 2020 NBL1 season, with the play-offs a clear target. Monique is a big part of this overall plan.

Keep posted for further signings to be announced shortly!
