TIGERS THRASH ALBURY

The Melbourne Tigers have secured their first win of the NBL1 season in emphatic fashion, thrashing Albury Wodonga from start to finish on the road.
A 31-13 opening term set the tone for the Tigers, who emphasized the three-pointer as their primary weapon.
Melbourne netted 18 triples as a team on the evening, with Isabella Brancatisano leading the way with seven three-pointers of her own.
She was supported by Monique Conti, who led all scorers with 28 points.
Emma Mahady continued her hot run of scoring for the Bandits, tallying 24 points, however lacked support from her teammates, leading to the 48-point loss.
