The Melbourne Tigers Women’s Basketball Association is now taking Expressions of Interest from all previous players for the 2021 VJBL season.
Team Selection Expression of Interest are open now and will close 6th November 2020.
The club’s commitment is to recognise loyalty and prioritise existing Tigers players.
The club wants to reassure every player in the Melbourne Tigers, that if you played last season, 2019/2020 and you want to continue playing next season, 2021, the club will give you priority in being selected in an appropriate team, if in competition with new athletes to the club.
With all that has occurred this year, we don’t want any Tigers player to be in fear of missing out.

After all Expression of Interest has been received, the club will publish information on the next steps of team selections and the on-line activities for each age group for the immediate period whilst Melbourne Metropolitan remains under restrictions.
It is anticipated that the VJBL will commence at some stage in early 2021.
Prior to that, once restrictions are eased, every player will be given the opportunity to demonstrate how much they have improved over the past months to be selected in the highest team possible according to their performance.
