Help Parky Fight Cancer

Andrew Parkinson won two NBL championships in 1992 and 1996 while playing at the South East Melbourne Magic, but he’s now facing an even greater challenge.

Parkinson, or “Parky” as everyone knows him, has been recently diagnosed with cancer and the Victorian basketball community has been called upon to support him and his family during this difficult period.

3on3 Hoops presents Clinics for Cancer, with these special Coaching Clinics run by different Celebrity Coaches including Andrew Gaze, Chris Anstey, Dean Vickerman as well as Jason and Alanna Smith, with all funds raised going to support Parky and his family.

Each clinic will run for approximately three hours and help players take their game to the next level with skills coaching including a focus on shooting, ball handling, one on one, defence, finishing at the hoop, and 3×3 games.

Joining in the clinic will be $60 per player, as the sessions are limited to a maximum of 50 players. The Clinics for Cancer will be held at 9 Hamilton Street Oakleigh with the dates and times set out below.
