ISABELLA BRANCATISANO SIGNS WITH TIGERS

The Melbourne Tigers are excited to announce the signing of 170 cm shooting guard, Isabella Brancatisano, for the 2020 NBL1 season.

Isa comes to the Tigers after five strong seasons with the Geelong Supercats in SEABL and NBL1. She has also played for WNBL club West Coast Waves and briefly with the South East Queensland Stars.

A native of Melbourne, Isa played all her junior representative basketball at the Melbourne Tigers. So, this is a real ‘homecoming’.

Brancatisano said, “I’m really excited to be back with the Tigers. Melbourne has a place in my heart and I’m looking forward to being coached by Kristi”.

Coach Kristi Harrower commented, “Isa has a high basketball IQ and has been in numerous successful programs. That winning mentality is so important. She plays strong defence, is a threat from the three-point line and sees the floor really well. As an elite Tiger junior, I’m so pleased to have her back at this Club.”

The Tiger’s 2020 NBL1 roster continues to build, with more announcements to come.
